These necklaces and pins are made by using slabs of clay that are cut out into various forms. Most are either circles or have circles cut out within the larger form. The majority of pieces are fired by the Raku method. Only the Chinese Symbol necklace is fired in an electric kiln.  When ordering a Chinese Symbol Necklace, be sure to specify the character  you would like painted on it on the order form in the Special Instructions/Comments field provided.
