These vessels are decorated with Ancient Chinese Characters. Out of more than 80,000 symbols in the Chinese language, I chose to use on my pieces 14 that I find represent important aspects of life (shown below). These vessels, made of white stoneware, are fired to a high enough temperature so that they will hold water and are food safe.
